How to use this wheel

    Add your choices

    Type each option into the entry panel, one per line. Or use Bulk Add to paste your whole list at once.

    Adjust if needed

    Remove any you want to exclude, or drag entries to reorder them. The wheel redraws automatically.

    Spin the wheel

    Click the wheel, press Space, or tap the Spin button. The wheel spins and decelerates until it lands.

    Use your result

    The winner pops up on screen. Remove it from the wheel if you're picking multiple things, or spin again with the same list.

What Makes This Different from Just Picking Randomly Yourself?

When you pick from a list yourself, other people can't always trust that it was truly random — and honestly, neither can you. Humans have patterns. You tend to look at certain parts of a list more. You have unconscious preferences. The Random Picker removes all of that.

The wheel uses cryptographically secure randomness, which means the result is genuinely unpredictable. Every segment has an equal chance every single spin, with no memory of what was picked last time. That's not how human 'random' works, but it is how this wheel works.

    Click the Bulk Add button and paste your entire list at once — one item per line. It saves you from typing 30 entries one by one and works perfectly with lists copied from Google Docs, Sheets, or a text file.

  • 02Duplicate entries to weight results

    If you want one option to come up more often than others, just add it twice. The wheel gives each entry equal probability, so two identical entries double that option's chance of landing.

  • 03Turn on Auto-remove winner for fair sequential picks

    Toggle Auto-remove winner so each result only comes up once. Useful when assigning tasks or picking from a class list — no one gets picked twice before everyone gets picked once.

  • 04Save your wheel with the Share button

    The Share button generates a URL that includes all your entries. Bookmark it or send it to someone so you don't have to re-enter your list next time you come back.

You can add up to 100 entries. The wheel redraws to fit however many you have, though readability of the text on each segment gets harder past about 30-40 entries. For very large lists, the result popup always shows the winner clearly regardless of segment size.
